We all really enjoyed the traveling circus that visited our school today …
We had a lovely morning with Tom McHugh who travelled all the way from the USA, Tom is a regular visitor to the area and kept us all entertained with a mixture of songs, puppetry and stories.
At the end of Toms session, 1st-6th play him a few tunes. Many thanks to Tom for making a great effort to visit us here at Claddaghduff NS.
The whole school went back to Claddaghduff Hall to see ‘The Hatch Show’ performed by Fidget Feet. It was a story about transformation from a caterpillar to a butterfly. The children particularly liked Uncle Rusty as he was a bit silly!
The show was thanks to Clifden Arts Week and Fidget Feet.
We were delighted to welcome Betty and the baby Boomers yesterday, thanks to Clifden Arts Week. They are a folk music group based in Hudson Valley, New York. They sang lovely songs and the children got involved with singing and actions.
We were busy in the kitchen doing some birthday baking…. some great chefs in the making.
John way very happy with his birthday cake and he shared it with everybody in the school!
We had a lovely morning with Joanne from Fidget Feed making our own butterfly wings. We are looking forward to seeing the updated Hatch Show next week in Claddaghduff Hall!
Many thanks to Clifden Arts Week ….
Well done to our students of the week this week , keep up the hard work.
